College de Limoilou

This 30 position Tandberg ICM/Divace Duo Lab was installed in July of 2000. The Tandberg Lab was chosen, after a great deal of research was done on all of the existing equipment presently available. The ICM/Divace combination allowed the College to utilize all of the analogue cassette matrial, that the College has been using in their Language courses. There is no need to digitize all of their material immediately. In addition the ability to utilize any of the multimedia files that are avilable on the web, on the Divace, in either audio or video formats also was taken into consideration.

The Partner Tools which are included in the ICM, are very user friendly, and are a positive addition to the Tandberg Package. These authoring packages are now being used by the Teachers in various courses.

The ability of the ICM to Digitally Transfer, Audio, Video, and Text files and in addition to open Web Sites on the student computers, was significant.The Digital collection of tests was also a factor.
