Ross Sheppard High School
This Tandberg Prisma ICM lab was installed in March 1999. The school wanted to install the latest audio recording technology as part of a computer lab. The Prisma offered this integration, with its Divace Virtual Tape Recorders. The Divace functions the same as a standard cassette recorder, with a separate 'master' and 'student' recording capability. The recording medium is digital. In addition to audio, the Divace can also be used to playback video files.
The Prisma ICM can be integrated into the Teleste Library Pilot System, and control of student computer's is also possible. The ICM also allows the Digital Transfer of Audio, Video, and text files. Digital collection of tests is also included.
