Williams Sound Interpreters Console IC-2Replacing the IC-1. The Williams Sound language interpreter control console just got smarter and a whole lot better looking. The IC-2 is a self-contained audio control center designed to provide all the functions necessary for simultaneous interpretation of one or more languages. As a stand-alone unit, it allows one or two interpreters to monitor floor or relay sources, activate microphone inputs and route the interpretation signal to one of two language groups. The system is ideal for presentation-style conferences for up to four language groups, where a floor and a key language are used. The IC-2 features a new CAT 5 audio bus that allows for quicker set-up with simplified cabling, easy cascading to support additional interpreters and no need for external distribution amplifiers. Soft-touch buttons on the IC-2 provide for smoother, quieter operation. And the system offers enhanced flexibility, providing each interpreter multiple microphone and headset options. Individual volume and tone controls are provided to ensure optimal listening levels. The IC-2 can be used with Williams Sound FM, IR and Digi-WaveTM transmitters for portable or fixed installations. The IC-2 is designed to meet international standards for portable interpretation consoles and is backed by a five-year warranty.
