WC301 Acoustic Echo Canceller

WideBand Solutions manufacturers an acoustic echo canceller (hardware) that is designed for VoIP web conferencing applications. The solution allows a group to hold a VoIP conference with tabletop microphones and computer or loud speakers.

In addition to removing echo, the WC301 enhances the quality of speech transmitted to the remote site(s). Noise reduction on each microphone channel removes noise generated by projectors, computer fans and HVAC systems from the transmission path. Automatic gain control raises levels for participants that speak soft or are farther away from a microphone.

How It Works

The WC301 connects to the soundcard of a computer or laptop. Microphones and speakers connect to the WC301. Computer speakers may be used for a "plug & play" connection or the WC301 may be connected to an existing speaker system in the room. When all components are connected the following processes self-adapt:

Users may adjust send and receive levels through the Eyecon "on-screen" icons.
